Keeping Costs and Conflict in Your Control

Everyone should be able to have an affordable divorce lawyer and mediator – from the plumber to the kindergarten teacher to the freelance artist. Every family deserves a future filled with peace, financial security, and safe space to become their best selves. Everyone deserves that better life.

Toward that goal, I keep prices straightforward, reasonable, and clear for mediation, collaborative practice and uncontested divorces. The less complicated a divorce is, the less it will cost to process.

Below are your options for working with me, and I’m happy to discuss which option might work best for you.

Divorce Process Education – $100, 45 minutes

Everyone has a story of a friend or family member whose divorce went on for years and left the family in financial ruin with so much anger left that they couldn’t move on. It doesn’t have to be this way! Everyone may find an affordable divorce lawyer. In fact, many processes and professionals exist to help you manage your divorce, emotionally, financially and legally. The divorce process consultation will educate you regarding the resources and options available for divorcing spouses, including mediation and collaborative divorce. The consultation usually lasts 45 minutes and may include both you and your spouse, if you choose. During this Education session, you will not receive any legal advice or advocacy – this is educational ONLY. Schedule an Education session here.

Mediation – $700, 2-hour Session

Mediation is a great way to preserve respect and civility in your divorce proceedings. It is often a quicker, less expensive, and private way to settle your sensitive disputes. This session includes preparation and debriefing correspondence, as well as any scheduling or other administrative work. Schedule your Mediation right now.

Mediation is a great way to settle the issues between you and your spouse without the expense, delay and acrimony of litigation. However, a mediator is not an attorney and cannot provide legal advice. You should meet with an attorney before and/or after your mediation sessions to ensure that you are making informed decisions based in knowledge and understanding of applicable law as you move through the process. An attorney can also help you prepare requested documentation, assure that you’ve addressed all the issues and work with you to best achieve your goals. 🔸 Post-Mediation Attorney Services – Hourly Rate: $300

Congratulations! You’ve done the hard work in mediation. You have your memorandum of agreement and you are ready to take the next steps. In such cases, you need an attorney to represent you through the legal proceedings. This service may include obtaining a Judgment of Divorce as well as up to three drafts of Consent Judgments for Custody and Support of Minor Children and Partition of Community Property.
